Noe Valley Cooperative Nursery School is a community of parents interested in taking part in their children's preschool experience. Each family shares in the planning and operation of the school. Parents staff the school under the guidance of Susan Edwards, who has been our director since 2006. The school is a proud and active member of the California Council of Parent Participation Nursery Schools, serving families of Noe and Eureka Valley, Bernal Heights, Potrero Hill, Mission, and other San Francisco neighborhoods since 1969.

The school is an enriching environment for parents and children to play, learn, and grow. Children develop at their own pace in a loving and unstructured environment, moving freely between three large rooms and an outdoor play area with a garden.

Please support the nursery school by making a donation to our Capital Fund.

With 100% participation from current member families, the fund was established in March 2009 in anticipation of a Ministry retrofit in the next 1-3 years. Its purpose is to allow the school to continue without interruption and to afford the improvements necessary in the school's upgraded home.
