ENTERTAINMENT
Performing their specialty – hot 1920s Jazz and 1930s Swing -- is Don Neely’s Royal Society Jazz Quintet with vocalist Carla Normand. The band is a sub-group of the renowned 11-piece. Royal Society Jazz Orchestra who have contributed significantly to the great revival of interest in music of this era. Members of Royal Society Jazz have played all over the country for jazz festivals, concerts, and swank soirees and at just about every high-profile event in the San Francisco Bay Area. Singing with the band is Carla Normand, considered one of the top vocalists in the country specializing in the style of the Jazz and Swing Era.
GOURMET CUISINE
Three stellar San Francisco chefs will be preparing the food for the evening, led by culinary artist Jeremy Moran who designed the varied menu of savories and sweets, including goat cheese and leek stuffed mushrooms, salmon a la Nage with sorrel aioli and poached vegetables, chocolate soufflé cake with raspberry coulis, and balsamic strawberry mascarpone tart.
